Emerald Sound, a deed restricted development of large single family homes, is nestled on the East bank of the main channel of Lake Lewisville in the city of Oak Point, Texas. The development consists of irregular 1+ acre blackjack and post oak covered lots in the rolling hills of the Eastern Cross Timbers of Texas.

It overlooks old Lake Dallas and the Elm fork of the Trinity River. The sunsets behind Denton across the Lake are breathtakingly beautiful. Migrating waterfowl, animal life, and fishing drew indigenous people to the area for over 300 years before it was opened to settlement as a part of the Peters Colony, the first Texas land grant.

The residents of Emerald Sound enjoy the wildlife that still abounds and graze their horses on the grasses that still grow on the Black Prairie soil of the area. We are dedicated to preservation and enhancement of its beautiful natural resources.
